The EPMA Event Designer Certification program incorporates online classes and hands-on, in-class workshops designed to teach students a wide range of event design techniques and topics. Our program offers systematic and explanatory training in event design that provides a comprehensive curriculum covering all elements of designing an event, including site, design, production, and execution strategies, for a complete special event creation and execution experience.

Students who take part in this course have either experienced wedding or event planning and want to learn the design aspect to give their clients a full experience. The program not only allows them to meticulously plan the elements, but also provides the capacity to design the overall concept using tools such as inspiration boards, design software, and much more.

Our intensive program is exclusively taught by industry-leading professionals to ensure a thorough understanding of our curriculum. They are committed to providing the basic knowledge, techniques, and confidence necessary for you to attain the professional career you desire.

Only at The Event Planning and Management Academy can you learn the hands-on skills of fabric draping, props, lighting, centerpieces, floral arrangements, and more. By utilizing your artistic skills in accordance with our high-aesthetic training and impeccable standards, you will be able to meet your clients' various custom specifications majestically.

Our online training program consists of lectures, video demonstrations, hands-on projects, and reading assignments, which you will photograph and return to us for critique, evaluation, and suggestions, along with additional training exercises and study quizzes. All essential tools, event design kits, and non-perishable design materials will be provided and shipped to you. With our advice and direction, you will buy the perishable design materials required for the completion of your exercises. Your assigned mentor is always available by email or phone to answer any of your questions, guide and assist you as you progress through each lesson.

In addition to the online training, students will have the opportunity to participate in a workshop. Class size is kept to a minimum for an ideal learning environment in which you will have the opportunity to interact closely with the course instructor. Under this instructor's guidance, you will demonstrate and practice the techniques and topics learned in the live online program.

The demonstrations will be conducted online through live, interactive video sessions, at a location of your choosing. The instructor and students can communicate with each other through video conference, where they can see, hear, and speak with each other. This video platform enables demonstrations that may not be available in traditional classrooms. The instructor can also share their desktop applications, including PowerPoint slides, graphics, animation, audio, video, documents, spreadsheets, or any other electronic media. They can also use a remote pointer to highlight areas of interest on your PC, making learning an interactive experience.


Upon completion of the seventh part of the program, students will arrange a suitable time to attend the two-day hands-on workshop. Workshops can be attended in-person or online. Students can choose to participate in the following areas:

For students who cannot attend any of the above locations, they can register for an online workshop. The online workshops cover the same material as the in-person workshops. Individuals who choose the online option must have a functional computer, high-speed internet connection for video conferencing and document sharing, and access to a telephone line or mobile phone for the audio component of the workshop.


The program is self-paced and can be completed at your convenience. You have the option to complete it as quickly as you like or give yourself up to 24 months to finish. Many students are able to manage the course workload while working full-time.
